17 de Marzo


Hoy es un día especial para el blog de Cebada Fermentada. Y es que hoy es ¡San Patricio!, la fiesta nacional de Irlanda, el hogar de Murphys y Smithwicks, mis preferidas.


Asi que, felicidades a todos los Patricios, Patos, Patricks, Paddys o Pádraig. Unas Murphys, Guiness, Kilkennys, Beamish, Smithwicks o cualquier cebada fermentada irlandesa para celebrarlo.
Eso sí, cantando Cockles and Mussels.

Cómo me gustaría estar hoy en Irlanda...allí sí que tiene que haber un fiestón...
En España hay mucha gente que no sabe de esta celebración, ó le suena pero no sabe la fecha, así que me temo que como en años anteriores, el evento será muy light y solo en pubs irlandeses.
A ver si la gente se va volviendo asidua a esta fiesta y se acostumbra a celebrarla, no sería tan raro, ya importamos otros eventos como "Hallowen", ó "Papá Noel", porque en realidad lo que nos gusta es la fiesta y cualquier motivo es bueno para salir de juerga. Así que voto porque el "Saint Patrick´s Day" se ponga de moda en nuestro calendario de festejos.
